Dr. Don Massey is a chartered clinical psychologist and educator who has a broad educational and employment background, including working as a school psychologist, clinical psychologist, neuropsychologist, and as an adjunct professor at the university graduate level.  Dr. Massey is a member of the College of Alberta Psychologists, the Canadian Psychological Association, the American Psychological Association, the National Association of School Psychologists, and the International Council of Psychologists.  He is also a member of the Canadian Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology, a professional member of the National Academy of Neuropsychology and the International Neuropsychological Society.

In addition, he holds Diplomate status with the American Board of Pediatric Neuropsychology, the American Board of Forensic Examiners, the American Board of Forensic Medicine, and the American Board of Psychological Specialities in Forensic Neuropsychology, the American Board of Pediatric Neuropsychology, and the American Board of Disability Analysts.  He has completed doctoral coursework in neurological sciences and neuroanatomy from the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Medicine and has also received specialized training in neuropsychological assessment from Dr. R. M. Reitan, Dr. C. J. Golden, Dr. George Hynd, Dr. Arnold Purisch, and others.  His Ph.D. research in pediatric neuropsychology involved an examination of outcome measures for children with premature birth histories for which he received a number of prestigious doctoral awards and fellowships.

Dr. Massey is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology, University of Alberta, where he lectures and supervises graduate students in neuropsychology and psychological assessment.  His private practise firm holds several school and corporate contracts for service delivery in the areas of neuropsychological assessment and consultation.  He has also been granted expert witness status in clinical and consulting psychology and neuropsychology at the Family and Criminal Court levels.
